Repinc and Irodov win sprints at IBU Youth World Championships Monday, 1 March 2021 Slovenia s Lena Repinc and Russia s Denis Irodov claimed gold in the sprint races today as the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Youth World Championships continued in Obertilliach in Austria. Today was another perfect day for Irodov who won his second title of the Championships, finishing with a clean shooting record in the men s 7.5 kilometre race in a time of 18min 22.5sec. On Saturday (February 27), Irodov won the individual race. Italy s Fabio Piller Cottrer also had 100 per cent target accuracy, pivotally securing himself the silver medal 21.1 seconds behind the Russian.
