December 11th, 2020 | by: Stu Marckoon Bar Harbor Pedestrian Fatal   (Bar Harbor)  A 27-year-old Trenton woman died early Thursday morning when a jeep hit her as she was crossing the road to go to work at Jackson Lab in Bar Harbor.  Police say McKenna Unobskey was in a crosswalk leading to Jackson Lab on lower Main Street about 5:45 yesterday morning when the vehicle hit her. Police tell Star 97.7 63-year-old Russell Clark of Bar Harbor was driving.  Paramedics responded to the crash site within minutes, but could not revive Unobskey.   Crash Indictment (Ellsworth) – Grand jurors say there is enough evidence to put a Sullivan man on trial for manslaughter and several other charges.  Police say 26 year old Jason Andrews was driving drunk last April when he crashed on the Tunk Lake Road.  That crash killed John-Michael Boucar.  The Hancock County Grand Jury returned the indictment this week.

She applied for benefits in March when the pandemic dried up her work caring for children with special needs. But as months passed with no payment in sight, she thought of her toddler, swallowed her pride, and got cash assistance for families in need.
