WB approves $153m for Covid-19 vaccination in Pakistan May 16, 2021 The World Bank has approved the restructuring of the Pandemic Response Effectiveness in Pakistan (PREP) project, originally approved in April 2020, to redeploy $153 million to support the ongoing national vaccine drive in the country. These funds, redeployed at the request of the federal government, will help finance the purchase and deployment of safe and effective Covid-19 vaccines that meet the eligibility criteria of the World Bank.
