The State says it will be withdrawing the following:
Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) – an additional $300 weekly payment to state or federal unemployment benefit recipients.
Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) – benefits for those who would not usually qualify for unemployment, such as the self-employed and gig workers.
Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) – an extension of benefits once regular unemployment benefits have been exhausted.
Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation (MEUC) – an additional $100 benefit for people with earnings from both self-employment and wages.
Governor Pete Ricketts commented, “We have about 39,000 job openings out there right now on our Nebraska works website. We have about 15,000 people receiving benefits so we got more than two jobs for every person on there. So it’s time to return to normal

Florida to drop $300-per-week benefit program for unemployment
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity will withdraw from Florida s Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program. The program that brought a supplemental $300 per week will end June 26, as part of DEO s Return to Work initiative. Other federal benefits will continue but are set to expire on Sept. 6. DEO said they will continue to monitor job posting and hiring trends in this time. More from WESH.

TALLAHASSEE â Floridaâs unemployment agency announced Monday that it would stop jobless Floridians from receiving an additional $300 in weekly benefits next month.
The Department of Economic Opportunity announced the state would stop participating in the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation program starting the week of June 27.
The program, which was set to run out in September, has been giving jobless Floridians an additional $300 in weekly benefits on top of eligible state benefits, which top out at $275 per week, one of the lowest rates in the nation.
