Official: Toronto FC sign defender Kemar Lawrence from Belgian side Anderlecht

MANITOBA, Canada Toronto FC announced today that the club has officially signed Jamaican international left-back Kemar Lawrence from Belgian side Anderlecht. The deal will run through 2024.

“We are very excited about Kemar joining the club,” said Toronto FC General Manager Ali Curtis via a press release. “He’s a fearless competitor, he has experience, and he immediately makes our team better. Kemar is a lockdown wingback, and we are excited to get him going. Looking forward to he and his family planting roots in Orlando, and then Toronto. Very excited for Kemar to join is an understatement.”

D.C. United on Thursday announced they have signed forward Nigel Robertha from Bulgarian first-division side PFC Levski Sofia to a three-year deal with an option for a fourth.
Robertha, 23, scored 20 goals to go with eight assists over 39 games for PFC Levski Sofia.
The deal is pending Robertha s visa and International Transfer Certificate. United used Targeted Allocation Money. We have been monitoring Nigel over the past two seasons and we ve been impressed with him in all phases of the game, particularly his ability to stretch the game vertically, press and counter-press, and score and manufacture all types of goals in every situation, D.C. United general manager Dave Kasper said in a release. Nigel is a bright young talent at 23 and we are looking forward to welcoming him to our family when he arrives ahead of our season opener on April 17.
Now, he has moved north to MLS, joining ambitious side Atlanta on a long-term contract.
A club statement on Thursday read: Atlanta United today announced it has signed centre-back Alan Franco as a Designated Player via transfer from Club Atletico Independiente of the Argentine Primera División. Franco will sign a five-year contract and occupy an international roster spot pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.
Technical director Carlos Bocanegra said: Alan is a competitive and aggressive center back who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. He has established himself with more than 80 matches in Argentina s top flight, in addition to experience in Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores. We re looking forward to further integrating him with the group and getting him match ready.
Schön was only 9 when he began his journey in soccer at the Budapest Honvéd academy, and he went on to the AFC Ajax s academy at 17 where he competed in the UEFA Youth League and U-18 Cup Netherlands competitions. He has also played with the Hungarian National Team at different youth levels since he was 14.
Dallas FC now waits for the receipt of Schön s P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC) as well as the end of his contract with MTK Budapest. Once those have cleared, Schön will be officially added to the club s roster.

FRISCO, Texas (April 7, 2021) – FC Dallas has signed Hungarian winger Szabolcs Schön from MTK Budapest to a three-year contract with club options for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Schön will join the club upon expiry of his contract with MTK Budapest and occupy an international slot. He will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC). Per team policy, additional terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Schön, 20, joins FC Dallas after spending the past couple seasons with Hungarian first-division MTK Budapest. He scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions.
