Children s World report cover Rivaldo Kavanga The Children’s World Survey was carried out in the Khomas Region in 2018 as part of the third round of the International Survey of Children’s Well-being (ISWeB). In total, 2124 grade 4 and grade 6 learners in 31 schools participated in the survey. The questionnaires were adapted, tested and translated into Afrikaans, English, Nama/Damara, Oshiwambo and Otjiherero. The survey was carried out by a team led by Dr Shelene Gentz, a senior lecturer at the University of Namibia, and Professor Mónica Ruiz-Casares from McGill University in Canada. The Children’s World Survey Khomas Region – 2018 was launched virtually via Zoom on Monday, 1 March 2020.

She also said in its resolve to bridge the capacity building gap in the profession, it had reached an advanced stage in the establishment of a specialised International University of Management, Nigeria. She spoke during the 15th Western Zonal Conference of ICAN with the theme, “Disruptive economy – Implications for the accounting profession,” in Ogun State. Green inducts 25 students to create ICT professionals

Green inducts 25 students to create ICT professionals 2021-01-27  Namibian ICT company Green Enterprise Solutions (Green) is hosting a two-week-long induction for 25 trainees from Namibian tertiary institutions. These students represent NUST, Unam, Lingua College and IUM.   The induction and the ensuing traineeship are expected to build capacity amongst the chosen students and give them real-world experience to enhance their theoretical knowledge. This induction is being conducted whilst adhering to all Covid-19 rules and regulations.  Green has created a fully-fledged programme that gives a ‘hands-on’ educational framework for interns and young Namibian professionals, providing them experience in technical and administrative ICT programmes. These include software development, infrastructure technologies, and networking and cybersecurity.
