Maine Game Wardens Searching for Man on Swan Lake, Swanville
The Maine Warden Service dive team is searching for yet another suspected drowning victim.
Forty-one-year-old Christopher Friedrich, originally from Oregon, was reported missing by his girlfriend late Tuesday afternoon. He had been camping in Swan Lake State Park, just north of Belfast.
A local camp owner found an overturned kayak in the lake on Sunday which was later traced to Friedrich. Wardens say the man s vehicle was found parked at the Swanville boat launch. His family said they last heard from him on Saturday evening.
