Decree No. 38 of 2021 The Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Maait, published  decree no. 38 of 2021 regarding the  Advance Cargo Information  ACI at Egyptian customs. The decree was issued to clarify the pre-registration of shipments procedures to be observed. The Ministry has been keen on the gradual implementation of the new e-system in order to facilitate its services. The decree stipulates the experimental implementation of the ACI for the incoming shipments at seaports as of the 1 st of April 2021, with  mandatory implementation beginning on 1 st July 2021.
