The retired couple, who live in a village in South Derbyshire, seemed like a match made in heaven for Bella (now 11 years old) as they previously had looked after shepherd-type dogs of their own, and were willing to give all the love and attention to Bella as well since their last dog passed away a couple of years back. Last Wednesday, the couple went to the center which has cared for her Bella up until now as they wanted to spend some time with their new pet ahead of her moving in with them the next day. The dog’s rescuers, Jane Harper and her friend Joanne Bellamy, were also invited along to witness the happy occasion and see how Bella was doing.

Well, artist Alex Pick reimagines some of the most well-known Disney characters as adorable babies, be it princesses, mermaids, or even some of the villains. The artist was first struck with the initial idea when he stumbled upon the work of the talented photographer Karen Marie, who previously did a photo series with newborn babies dressed as Disney princesses. It wasn’t long before Alex took everything into his own hands and re-drew the said pictures in his signature Disney-like style.

Munch’s bathroom is no hyggelig encounter between lovers, but the scene of French revolutionary Jean-Paul Marat’s murder at the hands of Charlotte Corday. And it channels violent events in Munch’s own personal life. It’s not the jolliest bathroom, then. But the use of marble adds a grandness and cleanliness to the scene. The terracotta tiling feels very European, and the curved doorway softens the austere scene. Munch painted Marat’s death bath twice, and this one is distinctly less bloody than his first attempt.”
