Saudi authorities are working relentlessly to combat commercial concealment to ensure a transparent business environment in the Kingdom.
Commercial concealment is defined as any illegal business practice that enables non-Saudi individuals or businesses to illegally engage in commercial activities.
The Saudi Ministry of Commerce recently announced new regulations that offer a way for such operators to rectify their status via a series of easy steps.
The rules include a corrective period that ends on Aug. 23 during which time violators can correct and legalize their status.

Millions of female domestic workers in Saudi Arabia have been excluded from reforms designed to grant foreign migrants more rights, due to continuing discrimination and sexism in the Kingdom, campaigners say.
The Gulf Kingdom announced changes to its labour laws last month that will allow foreign workers in many sectors to change jobs or leave the country without their employer’s permission for the first time.
DUBAI: KPMG said it will convert its Saudi Arabian unit from a professional partnership to a closed joint stock company, enabling the audit and advisory firm to expand across the Kingdom and in the regional market.
The move, approved by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, is also aimed at creating job opportunities for Saudi citizens and allowing a new stream of shareholding from investors, who could be from professions outside the service sector.
Saudi Arabia has launched sweeping economic and social reforms to make the Kingdom an easier place to live and work and cut the red tape that had long deterred international investment.
