PH among countries covered by new travel guidelines in Saudi Arabia enablePagination: false endIndex: Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 7) Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has issued new travel guidelines and requirements for some countries including the Philippines, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah announced. In an advisory, the Consulate said the guidelines cover 38 countries with high rates of coronavirus cases. This is also following the decision of Saudi authorities to lift the suspension of international travel and reopen its borders starting May 17, 2021. Among the requirements are a swab test certificate from an accredited screening center in Saudi Arabia prior to departure, and a seven-day home quarantine and a swab test certificate prior to returning to the Kingdom. Children under 8 years old are exempted.
