The third 2022 phase means new underground infrastructure and streetscaping. Similar to the first two phases, design features will include: Curb bump-outs at intersections to improve crosswalks for pedestrians, mid-block crosswalks, raised planter beds and landscape features; Enhancements such as exposed aggregate concrete, granite bench seating areas, new streetlights, and cellphone charging stations. Improved on-street accessible parking spaces, each served with an individual sidewalk ramp to create better conditions for those needing accommodations.
