After months of advocating for priority COVID-19 vaccine access, school staff across the province are excited to book their shots starting next week. But for many Regina students, having more staff vaccinated will not impact how long they remain in remote learning.
Terry Lazarou, spokesperson for Regina Public Schools, said the division was “very pleased” to hear the provincial government announce Tuesday that all school staff will become eligible to get their first shot once vaccines are available to everyone ages 40 and up starting sometime next week.
