T&TEC workers, among latest COVID cases

As 21 new positive COVID-19 cases were recorded by the Ministry of Health yesterday, officials of the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) have announced that two employees attached to its Northern Area were diagnosed with the virus on March 29 and April 2 respectively.
In a release yesterday, T&TEC said all protocols and contact tracing measures were immediately employed and the affected employees who were part of the contact tracing process were asked to self-isolate while a thorough sanitisation of the workspaces was done.
