Chad Wheeler pleaded not guilty during an arraignment on Monday to criminal charges of first-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest.
We previously reported, Wheeler was arrested and charged last week after viciously beating his girlfriend unconscious twice on January 22 and leaving her for dead. At one point she woke up and he allegedly asked her, “Wow you’re alive?” that’s when she ran into the bathroom and called 911, CBS reported.
When police arrived, they heard her screaming, prompting officers to force entry into the home, the report said. Officers found the victim covered in blood and her left arm was limp. She was hospitalized and Wheeler was detained.

(CNN) Former Seattle Seahawks player Chad Wheeler pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of domestic violence and resisting arrest for a January incident with his girlfriend, a spokesman for a Washington prosecutor said.
Wheeler, an offensive lineman, is charged with two felonies first-degree domestic violence assault and domestic violence unlawful imprisonment, as well as misdemeanor resisting arrest, court records show.
According to court documents, prosecutors said, (Wheeler) viciously attacked the victim in her bedroom, strangling her at times with both hands. Wheeler is also accused of strangling the victim twice until she lost consciousness.

KENT, Wash. Former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Chad Wheeler has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges of first-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest.
Wheeler entered the plea Monday morning during an arraignment at King County s Maleng Regional Justice Center. He was ordered to remain in Washington on electronic home detention with a GPS-equipped ankle monitoring device as a condition of his pretrial release. Wheeler was previously ordered to have no contact with the woman and to surrender any weapons.
Wheeler has a case-setting hearing scheduled for Feb. 11, according to a spokesperson with the King County prosecutor s office. His trial is scheduled for April 6.

TMZ reports it took three police officers to put Wheeler under arrest:
One cop said in the docs, “When I grabbed ahold of Chad, I could tell that he was very solid and muscular as he was not easy to move.” The officer said he began to understand the strength of Wheeler when all three responding cops piled on top of him and it barely slowed Wheeler down. . According to the police report, cops say Wheeler was not cooperative . so they used a Taser in an effort to detain him but it had “little to no effect.” When officers were finally ready to put him in handcuffs, Wheeler’s size and strength continued to be a factor. “Chad was so strong that ev
