Viktoria & Woods expands flagship store footprint

Luxury label Viktoria and Woods has opened its ninth standalone boutique in Chadstone Shopping Centre.
The Chadstone boutique joins the brand s other flagship stores in Paddington, Bondi Junction, Armadale, Emporium Melbourne, Sorrento, Queens Plaza, Mosman and Doncaster.
Founder and creative director Margie Woods said that she is thrilled to further expand Viktoria and Woods retail presence in her hometown. We are excited to offer a new brand experience in Chadstone. Chadstone is a prominent fashion destination with a strong international and Australian designer presence. [The store] celebrates both our Melbourne heritage and the evolution of our Viktoria & Woods boutiques, she said.

A woman who blackmailed a grieving couple over a lost phone containing photos of their dying daughter is appealing against her jail term, saying the sentencing judge was overwhelmed by the crime.
Siti Kamal, 26, from Malaysia, has been in protective custody since she was arrested for seeking money from Jay and Deanne Windross while their 11-month-old daughter, Amiyah, was dying in Melbourne s Monash Children s Hospital in 2019.
