Sinn Fein want to see a meeting of a local policing body held in public.
When initially set up, meetings of the Policing Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) for the Derry City and Strabane District Council area were held in public.
However, for many years, the meetings have now been held behind closed doors.
Sinn Féin group leader on the local council, Sandra Duffy, is now proposed that the PCSP hold a meeting in public to allow members to hold the PSNI to account in an open forum.

Derry s police commander has pulled out of a planned meeting with local councillors later today.
Local PSNI commander Darrin Jones had been due to take part in an online meeting with members of Derry City and Strabane District Council this afternoon to discuss a range of issues, including the police s handing of a number of recent incidents in Derry.
However, the meeting has been cancelled.
Aontú councillor Emmet Doyle hit out at its late cancellation.
Sinn Féin’s restructuring is growing with a prominent victims’ campaigner leaving the assembly and a son of Martin McGuinness being linked with a role in Derry.
