Dozens of healthcare workers lined up in their cars during the early morning hours of Dec. 21 and we caught up with an occupational therapist who was pulled in to help at a COVID ICU ward.
MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. - More Arizona frontline healthcare workers will receive the COVID-19 vaccine as Dignity Health has set up a vaccine pod at Chandler Gilbert Community College, where doses will be distributed starting at 7:00 a.m. on Dec. 21.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 10, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Thunderbird Field II Veterans Memorial, Inc. (“TB2 ) today announced it awarded the TB2 Aviation Scholarship to Arizona State University (“ASU”), Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, student Rachael Shantz. TB2 is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to preserving the history of aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona, honoring all military veterans and creating unique educational opportunities in aviation for Arizona students.
Ms. Shantz is currently a senior in the Air Traffic Management program in the Fulton School’s Accelerated 4+1 Graduate Program which allows students to earn both bachelor’s and master’s degrees at a faster pace. Rachael anticipates graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in Air Traffic Management in the fall of 2021 and then her Ma
