N.J. school district goes remote, scolds parents for ignoring COVID-19 guidelines

The Morris School District is admonishing parents who are not following coronavirus safety protocols in announcing a switch to all-remote learning.
In-person instruction is suspended at all schools starting Thursday and continuing until Jan. 4, the K-12 district posted on its website.
The announcement cited “multiple active positive cases of COVID-19″ in the schools and a finding that coronavirus cases in the area “increased dramatically following the Thanksgiving holiday.”
It also scolded parents.
“Some parents are not following quarantine restrictions for their children, not informing the school when children or family members have been exposed or have tested positive for COVID-19, or sending children to school even when they are symptomatic,” reads the post, which is unsigned but attribut
