New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday informed the Rajya Sabha that the government has no proposal at present to release the report of the caste Census conducted in 2011.
Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC), 2011, was carried out by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) and the then Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (HUPA) in rural and urban areas, respectively.
