Leigh is a pioneer member of the HSBC (HSBA.L) Pride + Ally Network in GSC Philippines. Under Leigh’s leadership a number of significant initiatives and company policy changes were made, including the establishment of both gender neutral and gender preference restrooms, the inclusion of same sex and domestic partners in their insurance coverage and inclusion of treatment of HIV/AIDS in HMO coverage.
Leigh took the lead in the D&I forum held in India in sharing Philippines Pride best practices and initiatives and established an annual PAN GSC SOGIE Awareness session, which she personally facilitates. In addition, she played a critical role in the establishment of Pride ERGs in GSC India and China.
William Vereker said a return of business investment and consumers unleashing savings will drive growth. He expects a big uptick in consumer spending and increased business investment.
This renewal will come as a five-year agreement.

Pic Tom Kay Friday 5th October 2018 A Cumbrian housing developer has secured £1m in funding to help it to continue building homes in the county, despite the disruption caused by Covid-19. Genesis Homes, based in Penrith, has secured £1m of Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme funding through Santander UK to continue its roll-out of housing development sites in the coming year. The firm has continued to operate throughout the pandemic, despite ongoing issues with local lockdown restrictions that have reduced the number of available skilled workers and led to shortages in raw materials.
A Penrith-based housing developer has been given £1 million-worth of Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme funding. The loan, via Santander UK, will enable it to continue its roll out of housing development sites in the coming year. Since launching in 2017, Genesis Homes has built and sold 158 homes over.
