Los Altos Hills residents might gain some respite – and the return of some of their stolen valuables – following the arrest of a Los Altos man in connection to a string of recent residential and vehicle burglaries in the Hills.  Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office representatives arrested Christopher Owen, 30, Monday (Jan. 25) and charged him with a litany of crimes associated with the case. They booked him into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

Leonid Solomonovich Yamburg, 51, allegedly confessed to killing his wife, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said Thursday in an official release. DPS Captain Craig Anderson said that Yamburg came into their lobby around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and told a record clerk on duty that he had killed his wife earlier in the day.
