Crime trends and advice about proactive crime prevention methods are the focus of a forum hosted tonight (Jan. 27) by town of Los Altos Hills staff and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Capt. Rich Urena.
The virtual forum, slated to run 6-7 p.m. on the Zoom platform, will include resources and a Q&A session.

Los Altos Hills residents might gain some respite – and the return of some of their stolen valuables – following the arrest of a Los Altos man in connection to a string of recent residential and vehicle burglaries in the Hills.
Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office representatives arrested Christopher Owen, 30, Monday (Jan. 25) and charged him with a litany of crimes associated with the case. They booked him into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
