L.A. County Health Officials Announce Drop In Daily COVID-19 Case Rate
Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LAPDH) officials announced Tuesday that the daily COVID-19 case rate in the county had dropped to within a percent value of the next threshold to enter the yellow tier of re-opening.
LADPH officials announced Tuesday that according to state metrics, L.A. County’s adjusted daily case rate had dropped from 3.2 new cases per 100,000 people to 2.7 new cases per 100,000, a promising sign of progress in re-opening.
“The numbers released today provide evidence that we are on the right course and if we experience additional declines in the case rate, COVID-19 transmission will be considered minimal in L.A. Santa Clarita Chamber Of Commerce, SchlickArt To Unveil Quarantine Photo Exhibit
The Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce (SCV Chamber) and SchlickArt and Photo have partnered together to create a photo exhibit displaying a gallery of photos depicting the first 12 weeks of quarantine in the Santa Clarita Valley which began approximately one year ago.
Entitled “The 12 Months of Quarantine”, the exhibit is set to be housed at the Westfield Valencia Town Center on the first floor at Sears Court and is scheduled to open for public viewing Monday May 3 through Sunday May 31.
