Firefighters responded to reports of an asphalt tank fire in the Santa Maria area Tuesday.
It was reported around 11:51 a.m. on the 1600 block of Sinton Road.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says steam injection was being used to put out the fire.
Oil and gas investigators were also on scene.
