Injuries Reported After San Francisquito Canyon Crash Involving Overturned Vehicle A San Francisquito crash involving an overturned vehicle resulted in injuries on Tuesday officials said.  At around 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision on San Francisquito Canyon Road near Fire Camp 14 in the Angeles National Forest, according to Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  “(The vehicle) was overturned,” said Pickett. “No one was trapped.” One person was injured due to the crash, according to Pickett. The extent of any injuries was not available as of Tuesday night.   Ed. Note: This is a breaking news story, more information will be added as it becomes available.

CHP Officers Killed In The ‘Newhall Incident’ Remembered On 51 Year Anniversary Officers with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Newhall Office are remembering their four fallen brothers who were gunned down 51 years ago Monday during the “Newhall Incident.” Shortly before midnight on April 5, 1970, a pair of career criminals shot and killed officers Walt Frago, Roger Gore, James Pence and George Alleyn in a gunbattle following a traffic stop. CHP Officer Walter C. Frago (6573) Bobby Davis and Jack Twinning, the pair of career criminals, first came into contact in federal prison and reunited in Houston Texas after they were released. The pair decided to move out to the Los Angeles area, but struggled to find employment as a result of their criminal records.
