Roger Kibbe, the convicted I-5 Strangler, was found strangled inside a California prison, according to an autopsy performed by the Sacramento County Coroner s Office.
Medical staff took Kibbe to the institutional health care facility, where he was later pronounced dead. The Amador County Sheriff’s Office is calling the death a homicide. Kibbe s cellmate has been moved to a different unit while authorities investigate Kibbe s death.
No charges have been filed in the death of Kibbe, a former suburban Sacramento furniture maker whose brother was a law enforcement officer.
