AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. A man, who authorities say is connected to the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl, was brought back into custody for questioning by Amador County Sheriff after being released on Friday.
Joshua Martinez was brought back into custody by the Amador County Sheriff s office to be questioned about the disappearance of Victoria Marquina back in October 2019, Amador County Undersheriff Gary Redman said. Redman said Martinez was released after being brought back in for questioning.

A number of houses in Manteca and one in Lathrop were raided on Wednesday as part of an extensive network after it was determined that they were being used to illegally grow marijuana.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, a total of 20 search warrants were executed throughout San Joaquin after an exhaustive 6-month investigation determined that nearly two dozen residences were involved in the illegal cultivation operation.
Multiple houses in Manteca were included in the raid, as was one house in Lathrop.
LODI The San Joaquin County Sheriff s Office has launched a homicide investigation into two deaths in rural Lodi after a grandchild entered and found two unresponsive people.
Sheriff s deputies were dispatched to a home at 8 a.m. Thursday in the 5000 block of West Kingdon Road in Lodi after receiving a call from a person who walked into their grandparents’ home to find two people unresponsive.
The Sheriff s Office said the case is being investigated as a homicide, and did not release any further details.
