San Francisco bars require proof of COVID vaccination
Hundreds of bars in San Francisco are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry inside.
The call to tighten entry requirements was made by the San Francisco Bar Owner Alliance, a group representing nearly 500 establishments. They cited the rapid rise in cases of the delta variant, particularly among fully vaccinated staff members, as the motivation behind the cautious approach.
Customers who aren t vaccinated may drink indoors at participating bars if they provide a negative COVID-19 test from the last 72 hours under the bar alliance s strategy.

More Vaxx Mandates: Newsom Requires All State Employees to be Vaccinated, Breed Expands Mandate
California will be the first state to require all state employees to be vaccinated, while Mayor London Breed doubles down and expands the SF vaxx mandate, and you see where this is all going.
Monday morning’s announcement that the San Francisco Bar Owner Alliance would require proof of vaccination to enter bars is being met with overwhelming approval and huzzahs locally, at least. But the bar owners effectively put it out as a trial balloon last week, held their fingers to the wind, and saw that public response was quite supportive. Not so for San Francisco Mayor London Breed, who required mandatory vaccinations for all 35,000 city employees in late June, and she got shit for it from the SEIU, the Black Employees Alliance and Coalition Against Anti-Blackness, and Sup. Shamann Walton.
