Marin Assemblyman Levine defends outdoor dinner with lawmakers amid coronavirus surge [The Marin Independent Journal, Novato, Calif.] Dec. 10 Marin Assemblyman Marc Levine said this week that he and his colleagues were complying with all state and local health guidelines when dining outdoors on Monday amid a statewide surge in coronavirus cases. “I take health pretty seriously both for my family and for my community and I would never do anything to put that at risk,” Levine said Wednesday. Levine, D-Greenbrae, attended the outdoor dinner at the Maydoon restaurant in Sacramento on Monday after being sworn in for his fifth term representing Marin County and southern Sonoma County. His fellow diners were assembly members Adrin Nazarian, D-West Toluca Lake, Chad Mayes, I-Rancho Mirage, Tasha Boerner Horvath, D-Encinitas, and Chris Ward, D-San Diego.
