The orders affect residents of the communities of Oak Glen, northeast Yucaipa and Mountain Home Village. A division chief with the San Bernardino County Fire Department, who lives in Oak Glen, said he was concerned that a drainage channel that runs underneath a bridge at Oak Glen Road will almost certainly overflow by Friday morning, flooding the roadway.

The warning is just ahead of a winter storm expected to hit the Inland Empire late Thursday night and into Friday morning. Fire officials are concerned that heavy rain could cause flooding and debris flows in the neighborhoods in and near burn scar areas. An #EvacuationWarning has been issued for the following communities due to the potential for flash flooding based on expected rainfall with the incoming storm: Mountain Home Village, northeast Yucaipa and Oak Glen. Fire in Cajon Pass grows to 50 acres Sunday afternoon Victorville Daily Press Firefighters got a quick handle on a blaze in the Cajon Pass on Sunday afternoon that spread to about 50 acres.  Firefighters responded to the blaze, dubbed the Blue Fire, just off Old Cajon Boulevard just before 3 p.m., according to the San Bernardino National Forest.  Information was scarce Sunday evening, but fire officials said the forward rate of spread had been stopped and it was 95% containment.  Firefighters arrived on scene and estimated it to be about five to 10 acres and moving at a “moderate rate of spread.”  “Firefighters are making good progress on the fire, which is now moving with a slow rate of spread and is approximately 50 acres,” the San Bernardino National Forest tweeted at 3:40 p.m.
