A Victorville man has been accused of sexually exploiting two women, including a 17-year-old girl, after he was arrested earlier this month for outstanding warrants.
Trayvon Ashley, 23, faces possible charges of human trafficking of a minor, pandering a minor older than 16 and pimping a minor older than 16.
The California Penal Code defines pandering as influencing someone to become or remain a prostitute.
Ashley is scheduled for a hearing Monday in Victorville Superior Court.
Members from the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force were called by detectives at the Victorville Sheriff’s Station after Ashley was arrested for warrants including one for no bail out of Texas on June 6, authorities said.
Marc Goodwin, 43, was arrested Thursday by members of the Fontana Police Department Internet Crimes Against. Investigators later learned that Goodwin was a sheriff’s sergeant employed by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
