San Bernardino man suspected of kidnapping after theft of hairdryer in Apple Valley

A San Bernardino man faces several possible charges, including kidnapping, after authorities said he ordered a victim at gunpoint to drive him back to an Apple Valley store from which he had just shoplifted a hairdryer.
Aaron Munoz, 28, was booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto on suspicion of kidnapping and possession of a controlled substance while armed, among other allegations.
He remained in custody Friday afternoon in lieu of $250,000 bail, booking records showed.
According to court records, Munoz faces felony charges of assault with a firearm, false imprisonment, and being a felon or addict in possession of a firearm. Misdemeanor charges include resisting a peace officer and shoplifting.
At about 1:30 a.m., the suspects were detained by Deputy Zolfaghari for a felony investigation.
Sakhon Kong, a 30-year-old resident of Rosemead, and Elvin Delmundo, a 26-year-old resident of Alhambra, were found to be on felony supervised probation, and Kong had two active arrest warrants.
A credit card embossing machine and heroin was allegedly found in the vehicle. The embossing machines are commonly used by suspects involved in identity theft-related crimes.
Kong was arrested for two warrants, possession of a stolen vehicle and identity theft. He was booked at West Valley Detention Center.
Delmundo was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and identity theft and was booked at Central Detention Center.
