At around 10:20 a.m., Deputy LoVasco from the San Bernardino County Sheriff s Hesperia Station was flagged down by a motorist who witnessed a male passenger attacking a Victor Valley Transit bus driver. “A male passenger got up and attacked the driver and was armed with a knife,” said Sgt. Doug Hubbard. After the attack, the bus had stopped at an intersection eastbound at Bear Valley Road and I Avenue in the left turn lane, Hubbard said.
