Tom Barrack, the founder and former CEO of Colony Capital and longtime advisor to Donald Trump, was released on Friday on a whopping $250 million bond, three days after being arrested on charges that he acted as an unregistered foreign agent and lied about it to investigators.
Barrack, 74, was freed from a county jail facility in San Bernardino, according to jail records. He was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles on charges he that he illegally sought to influence policy for the United Arab Emirates with disclosing himself as a registered foreign agent.

Hesperia man hit Big Lots employee with car during robbery, authorities say

A man accused of hitting a store employee with his car while allegedly stealing merchandise was expected to appear in court Thursday.
Kenneth Deshon Berry, 50, of Hesperia, faces potential charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Each charge carries sentencing enhancements for great bodily injury on a person, using a deadly weapon and committing a crime while bail or release, court records show.
Berry was scheduled to be arraigned in Victorville Superior Court. Hearing information was not immediately available Thursday.
Authorities said deputies responded to an assault Monday morning in the parking lot of the Big Lots in the 14700 block of La Paz Drive in Victorville.
