Kammeron Isaac Anderson, 25, Nipomo
–On Jan. 23, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff Office detectives along with the assistance of the public, identified and located a burglary suspect who was wanted for two incidents in Nipomo early yesterday morning. In each of those incidents, the suspect grabbed a woman inside the residence and then fled before law enforcement arrived.
The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Kameron Anderson of Nipomo. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Special Operations Unit located Anderson at a relative’s home in Nipomo. Anderson was arrested for residential burglary with additional charges pending and was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail. No additional suspects are outstanding in this case.
Grover Beach man arrested in connection to shooting in Oceano
OCEANO, Calif. A Grover Beach man was arrested on suspicion of shooting, driving under the influence and evading arrest in Oceano on Thursday morning.
On Thursday at around 7:30 a.m., San Luis Obispo County Sheriff s deputies responded to reports of shots fired on the 2400 block of Ocean Street in Oceano.
When deputies arrived on scene they found the car matching the description of the suspect car leaving the area.
Deputies followed after the car, told the driver to stop but the driver denied the order and a small pursuit began.
–A San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office rural crime deputy, along with a North County resident deputy came upon a case of possible animal neglect last month while conducting an unrelated animal neglect investigation in California Valley.
Five domestic pigs were found to be in an enclosure, standing in nearly two feet of mud, with no food or water. The pigs were in distress due to the near-freezing temperatures while half-submerged in mud. The owner of the livestock was nowhere to be found, and it appeared that the animals were abandoned. Deputies made the conditions habitable for the pigs, gave them food and water, and left a note for the property owner to contact the sheriff’s office.
