Vehicle crashes into San Luis Obispo building

ORIGINAL STORY: Minor injuries were reported when a pickup truck crashed into a San Luis Obispo building Thursday morning.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. at McMillian Avenue and Orcutt Road.
The San Luis Obispo City Fire Department says two vehicles were involved in the crash and one of the vehicles went into the building.
Two people were being treated for what firefighters described as minor injuries.
People are asked to avoid the area while cleanup is underway.

Driver arrested on suspicion of DUI for Sunday night crash in SLO
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A driver of a vehicle that crashed in San Luis Obispo Sunday night was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The crash happened around 11:15 p.m. at a roundabout on Tank Farm Road.
Photos posted by the San Luis Obispo Police Department show a dark colored sedan with major rollover damage.
Sunday night at approximately 11:15pm, patrol responded to an injury traffic accident on Tank Farm Road at the roundabout. The driver was arrested for suspected DUI and transported to a local hospital for care of their injuries. San Luis Obispo fire department releases annual report.
–The City of San Luis Obispo Fire Department released its annual report, highlighting the year’s accomplishments and work efforts in service to the community.

The report highlights both department activity and statistics that the department utilizes to analyze performance and workload in its mission to serve the community. Included in the report are some of the major accomplishments made by staff during the last year highlighting the work performed by department staff.
