Essendon pre-season supplementary selection Alec Waterman will make his debut against St Kilda on Saturday, according to
AFL Media’s Callum Twomey.
The 24-year-old, who was handed a second chance at AFL level after being delisted by West Coast in 2016, will play his first senior game after strong pre-season and VFL practice match form.
The Bombers were hit with a triple injury blow this week with Jye Caldwell (hamstring), Sam Draper (ankle) and Dylan Shiel (knee) all set to spend a considerable time of the sidelines, opening the door for Waterman s selection.
