While Amherst’s Michael Hixon already punched his ticket to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, he fell short of qualifying for a second event at the US Diving Olympic Trials in Indianapolis on Sunday night.
Hixon finished fourth in the men’s 3-meter springboard, falling short of a berth in Tokyo in the event where only the top two finishers at the Trials were guaranteed a spot.
