Seoul: Samsung Electronics on Thursday unveiled new Galaxy Book laptops as the South Korean tech giant eyes to beef up notebook sales amid the pandemic-driven stay-at-home trend.
The Galaxy Book Go and the Galaxy Book Go 5G will be the latest additions to Samsung s notebook portfolio powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon compute platforms.
The Galaxy Book Go 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G platform, while the LTE version is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 system.

Seoul, May 27 (IANS) Samsung Electronics on Thursday released a new mid-power LED package boasting improved light efficacy and colour quality as the South Korean tech giant eyes to improve its presence in the lighting LED sector.
The LM301B EVO offers the industry’s highest efficacy of 235 lumens per watt (lm/W) by using a new reflective material inside the packaging mold, according to Samsung.
The company also managed to fine tune the red spectrum in the LED’s phosphor mix to deliver enhanced colour quality.

Samsung’s latest LED package, built upon its flip-chip design, is available in color temperatures ranging from 2,700K to 6,500K.

Seoul, May 24 (IANS) Samsung Electronics on Monday added more products to its monitor lineup with enhanced connectivity options as the South Korean tech giant targets to boost sales amid the pandemic-induced remote work and learning trend.
Samsung said its latest Smart Monitor, powered by the Tizen operating system, includes a 43-inch M7 model supporting ultra-high definition resolution. The company previously introduced a 32-inch M7 last November.
The 43-inch M7, which supports 65W charging through a USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 4.2 solution, will be sold at $575 in South Korea. It will come with a solar-powered remote control.
