The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum will hold its 30th induction banquet next Saturday, June 5th. Executive Director Bob Baker says all the living inductees will be in attendance. “We have eight inductees this year. Those include sprint car drivers Greg Hodnett, Tim Shaffer, and Jeff Swindell. The owner/mechanic/builder category includes Will Dyer and Paul Leffler. Our promoter/official media member/event series sponsor includes Don Lamberti and Spencer Riggs. Our pre-1945 era includes Bill Cummings. All of the living inductees will be at the induction banquet. We’re looking forward to hosting that.” The banquet begins at noon on Saturday, June 5th at Dyer Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville. Tickets cost $30.

Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame Nominations Open

Nominations are open for the 2021 Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame Class. Nominations can be emailed to track historian Eric Arnold. Nominations are due by May 1st. The 2021 Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame inductions will take place on Saturday, July 3rd from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Dyer- Hudson Hall on the Marion County Fairgrounds.
