Options Care Center receives new ultrasound | News, Sports, Jobs

Dec 24, 2020 Options Care Center, formerly Women’s Services, has been doing business in Chautauqua County for over three decades offering pregnancy tests, parenting education, material assistance for families with young children, and several other services. In the past year, they began offering a new service: limited ultrasound. With the help of generous community supporters, 4us Community Champions Grant, and a Chautauqua Region Community Foundation grant, they were able to secure a state-of-the-art machine. “This machine is such a blessing to us and our community. I’ve seen many sonogram pictures, and every time, I’m amazed at the technology we have that can give us a look inside the womb. It’s incredible to think we can see a heartbeat when a woman is six or seven weeks along or to see the little arms and legs shortly after.” says Jessie Andersen, executive director.

He was the easy-going, help-everybody-with-their-homework kind of guy to our daughters, Hannah and Emily, while I was, admittedly, the disciplinarian. He was my best friend.
