A Suffield lawyer shot his wife on Christmas night before turning the gun on himself, a spokesperson from the state Chief Medical Examinerâs Office said Monday afternoon. Both were shot in the head.
John Liquori, 59, and Cindy Liquori, 55, both of 900 Suffield St., were found dead inside the Windsor Locks residence at 33 Dale St. around 6 p.m. Friday after police received a 911 call reporting the incident.
Online voter registration and Windsor Locks property records indicate the ranch-style, two-bedroom home is owned by Cindy Liquoriâs mother, Clair R. Palmer, 77, who bought it in 1990.
John Liquori had been a practicing lawyer for nearly 32 years and worked out of his Suffield residence, according to his LinkedIn profile.

NaLyssa Smith matched a career high with 30 points on 12-of-15 shooting to lead six players scoring in double figures in a 136-43 win over Northwestern State on Friday, extending the Lady Bears’ national-best home winning streak to 60 games.
