Fortunately, thousands of volunteer security defenders were at the ready to save the planet. So goes the tale of Cyber Apocalypse 2021, the first capture-the-flag (CTF) competition that Hack the Box (HTB) opened up to any and all players across the globe. HTB has a dedicated CTF platform, which has been used to host closed CTF events for universities and businesses. As Daphne Deiktaki, Hack the Box s head of marketing, said in an interview before the event, Cyber Apocalypse was different because, We are inviting absolutely everyone in the world. ⚽ Kansas Falls at Missouri 1-0

COLUMBIA, Mo. – In a tale of two halves, the Kansas soccer team came up short 1-0 to Missouri at Audrey J. Walton Stadium on Saturday night. Missouri scored on a Kansas own goal in the 65 th minute when a MU free kick hit off a KU defender’s head and into the KU goal. Kansas concludes the 2020-21 pandemic season with a 6-4-3 overall record and its 5-3-1 Big 12 mark last fall had KU finish fourth in the league, its second-straight and 10 th-time overall upper-half placing. Missouri improved to 6-5-3 in 2020-21. Kansas dominated and controlled the tempo the first half outshooting Missouri 9-6, including five shots on goal, but the Tigers kept the pace in the second half, outshooting the Jayhawks 5-3, including 3-0 shots on goal.

⚽ Jayhawks Travel to Missouri for Border Showdown

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer (6-3-3) travels to Columbia, Missouri for a Saturday night match on April 17 at 7 p.m. (CT) against Missouri (5-5-3). Saturday’s match will be broadcast on SEC+ Network with Ben Arnet and Simon Rose on the call. The Jayhawks and the Tigers will face off for the 23rd time in soccer. Missouri holds an 11-10-1 edge in the all-time series. For games played in Columbia, MU maintains a 7-4-0 record. Most recently, the two programs faced off on Nov. 13, 2016 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence. The Jayhawks clinched the win, 1-0, in double overtime with a goal from Lois Heuchan to advance to the second round.
