The provincial government is being asked to acknowledge what the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership says is already true – the Sarnia area is Ontario’s hydrogen hub.
And that claim is more than hot air.

A submission to the province by the Lambton County-funded economic partnership – prepared in consultation with more than 40 experts in industry, academia, research, government and industrial organizations – says the Sarnia area is Ontario’s largest cluster of current and potential hydrogen producers and users.

In fact, the Sarnia-based handyman and yard maintenance contractor said he’s never been busier.

With the extra money he’s seeing, he’s decided to give back so is encouraging others like him to do the same.
“I’ve got a slew of contractors I work around as well and, I’ve got to say, not one of them I can tell you has been affected (negatively financially amid COVID-19) in terms of home renos and stuff like that,” the owner of Matt Reid Property Maintenance said. “Everybody’s just been swamped.”
