Help local police and firefighters compete for a good cause in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on Friday

ABC Columbia May 24, 2021 12:50 PM EDT COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– You can join local law enforcement and firefighters in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. It starts Friday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Richland County Decker Center at 2500 Decker Boulevard and at the Charles Drew Wellness Center at 2101 Walker Soloman Lane. The Columbia Police Department, Columbia Fire Department and Richland County Sheriff’s Department will battle to see which team donates the most. Douglas County rona vaccine clinics

Douglas County will start the next phase of vaccinations by limiting them to residents age 80 and older, due to the short supply of vaccines available.The Douglas County Health Department announced Wednesday there will be four community clinics open during the first week of February. They will be limited to those age 80 and up, and participants must pre-register. Douglas County will accept registrations for those age 80 and up starting on Friday, January 29th at 9:00 a.m. at 402-444-3400. This is the only phone number taking reservations. The health department says residents should not call the clinic sites.Those who have registered on line for vaccine information will be notified about what to do next. You can sign-up here. Douglas County Health Department announces community vaccination clinics

By Julia Bertino Jan 27, 2021 (Douglas County, NE) The Douglas County Health Department has announced the times and locations for COVID-19 vaccination clinics. DCHD says along with community partners, they will host four community clinics beginning in February in an effort to provide Douglas County residents 80 years of age and older with the COVID-19 vaccine. The health department says the four sites are being coordinated by DCHD in partnership with Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, Creighton University and Methodist Health System. The locations and times for the clinics are: Christ Community Church at 404 South 108th Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The clinics will provide vaccine from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days until further notice. This begins February 2nd.
