December 22, 2020 On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at approximately 4:33 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Heritage Place in Waldorf, for the report of an injured man inside a parked car. When officers arrived, they located the man; he had severe trauma and was transported to a hospital where he is currently in critical condition. It appeared the man had been shot. Medical personnel arrived on the scene and requested a helicopter and medic unit. Medics reported the victim was an adult male that appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head. December 21, 2020 Charles County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating an armed robbery which took place on December 18 at the CVS on Leonardtown Road in Waldorf. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest of these suspects. Details of the case are as follows: On December 18 at approximately 3:01 a.m., the pictured suspects entered the CVS in the 3800 block of Leonardtown Road in Waldorf armed with a handgun. They announced the robbery, stole a cash register, and fled. Detectives Arrest White Plains Man for Shooting Woman in Bryans Road | Southern Maryland News Net

December 17, 2020 Antonio Lamar Carter, 20, of White Plains On December 15 shortly after 2:00 a.m., Deputies from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center for the report of a woman who arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to her shoulder. During the investigation, detectives learned the shooting occurred in the 3000 block of Frazier Road in Bryans Road. After pursuing additional leads, detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtain an arrest warrant. The suspect, Antonio Lamar Carter, 20, of White Plains, turned himself in on December 17, and was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and other related charges.

December 11, 2020 On Thursday, December 10, 2020, at approximately 7:45 p.m., officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to several calls for a possible shooting in the area of Lambeth Hill Drive in Waldorf. Callers indicated the occupants in two vehicles were shooting at each other. When officers arrived, they located a Volkswagen Jetta, which had been left abandoned, on Renner Road near Lambeth Hill Drive; the vehicle had damage from gunfire. Officers then found an abandoned BMW on Renner Road near Piney Church Road. The occupants of both vehicles had fled. Officers also located a citizen who crashed his car after being forced to swerve off the roadway to avoid being struck by one of the fleeing vehicles. The driver of that car was not injured.

December 11, 2020 Keishon Javontae Thompson, 18, of Waldorf UPDATE: Charles County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested Keishon Javontae Thompson, 18, of Waldorf, in connection with the murder of J’Shaun Wallace, 19, who was shot and killed on December 6 in the 2500 block of Business Park Court in Waldorf. After pursuing leads in the case, detectives identified Thompson as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant. Detectives, with the assistance of the US Marshals Task Force and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, located Thompson on December 10 in Bel Air, MD. A preliminary investigation showed Thompson shot Wallace, who was known to him, during the sale of shoes.
