(Image: MEN) The mum of a 14-year-old who drowned in the River Irwell has spoken of her heartbreak after an inquest into his death was completed. Adam Kay went out on his bike with two friends on Tuesday, June 2, last year and the trio travelled from his home in Kearsley to Clifton Country Park. It had been a hot, sunny day and Adam and one of his friends decided to go swimming in the waters of the the River Irwell.
