The nine-minute video shows the woman being wrestled on the ground by a man working as a loss prevention officer at the FreshCo grocery store on 33rd Street West.
The woman can be heard telling the man she threw out the receipt for the items she bought. In a second video, she tells a Saskatoon police officer the guard shoved her face-first into the ground three times.
Saskatoon Police say responding officers saw a 30-year-old woman being detained by a loss prevention officer. The woman was charged with assault and theft under $5,000.
