Redding woman arrested for murder of former husband, says MCU detectives
The Shasta County Major Crimes Unit has made an arrest for the murder of an Anderson man that happened Thursday at a home on Deschutes Road.

REDDING, Calif. – A woman has been arrested for the murder of her ex-husband, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.
54-year old Annastacia “Stacia” Colosio of Redding was arrested on Friday after being released from a hospital due to a laceration to her right leg, according to the County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit.

UPDATE: 5:02 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 - The Shasta County Sheriff s Office provided an update on a November 3 shooting in west Cottonwood that left one man dead.
According to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, they identified that suspects using the alias of “Qufar” and “Pirate” were involved in the shooting death of Isaac Patino. Detectives said they were able to identify “Qufar” as 28-year-old Abdiqafar Mohamud Mohamud, from Seattle, Washington.
