Dunkley of MMA Aviation honored with General Aviation Award Staff Report COSHOCTON - An employee of MMS Aviation was recently among three honored with General Aviation Awards by the Federal Aviation Administration.  Michael C. Dunkley of Coshocton was named the Aviation Technician of the Year. Other awards went to Ronald J. Timmermans of Orlando, Florida, for Certified Flight Instructor of the Year and Timothy Magee of Swisher, Iowa, for the FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year. The awards will be presented at EAA AirVenture in July in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Dunkley, who was born in England, spent his early years growing up in Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) and then undergoing an apprenticeship at Air Rhodesia/Air Zimbabwe that led to a full-time job as a technician for the airline. (Air Force) Officials with the Wisconsin Air National Guard on Saturday identified an airman with the 115th Fighter Wing who was one of two people who died Feb. 16 in a civilian aviation crash. Staff Sgt. Remington K. Viney, 26, was killed in the aircraft crash in Janesville, Wisconsin, at 9:18 a.m. CST Feb. 16, according to the wing’s Facebook page. Local TV station Action 2 News previously reported that Viney was one of two people killed Tuesday during a plane crash in Rock County. Authorities identified the other victim as 25-year-old Tanner Byholm of Glidden, Wisconsin. Byholm was an Air Force reservist, according to an obituary posted online.
